OUIDA DW, Founder, Artistic Director
Ouida is a playwright, actress, and director, wearing multiple hats in the theatre world. She has brought top-quality theatre to S. Florida since 2010. As a Theatre Arts and English major at Jacksonville University, she performed in Shakespearean plays for the city of Jacksonville, FL. After graduating, she worked as both a writer and performed on stage as an actress in dinner theatre shows until she went on to hold a Master of Arts in English/Writing from the University of Texas.
As former founder and owner of Immeasurable Theatre, based out of Palm Beach County, her plays were produced and performed throughout S. Florida: Wellington Amphitheatre, Clematis, Downtown Lake Worth street theatre, Tamarac Theatre Festival, Ft. Lauderdale, and more.
She also provides a wide variety of training workshops for actors of all ages, adults and children. One of her former students, Uriel Baldesco, whom received specialized and individual training with Ouida, went on to gain the acclaimed role as Lucia on the Nickelodeon show “I Am Frankie.”
An award-winning playwright, Ouida’s Cinderella Goes Disco, received an “Excellent” award from the Florida State Thespian Society District Competition. Ouida is now bringing theatre to N. Palm Beach, producing avant-garde work inside a black box arts hub called Fourth Wall Theatre—breaking through!
Frances O. O'Neal, Scenic Artist
Frances O. O'Neal is a talented artist who delights the eyes with her intricate creations. She is a published illustrator for two YA Fantasy novels. Her eye-catching illustrations are crafted with a finite flair, using raw pencil sketches and shading.
Frances also brings experience in creating elaborate, scenic designs for theatre stages and pop-up, immersive dramatizations.
From raw pencil sketches and shading, to original design logos, paint, and theatrical set work, she brings an artistic brilliance to anything she sets her hand to do.
She is excited to bring her talents to Fourth Wall Theatre stages!
